Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews
- Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities
- Analyze, manage and display data using geographic information systems and computer-aided design and drafting
- Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Provide technical and professional advice
- Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
- Supervise and co-ordinate field survey activities
