Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Co-ordinate the work of camera operators and other technical staff
  • Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment
  • Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes
  • Apply cosmetic and special effects make-up to performers
  • Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes
  • Schedule and oversee rehearsals
  • Assist in preparing the construction specifications for sets
