Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Diagnose livestock health issues
  • Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Treat livestock health issues
  • Work with honey bees
  • Perform general farm duties
  • Write daily basic progress reports

Experience and specialization

Apiary and honey harvesting experience

  • Detect bee diseases
  • Extract honey manually
  • Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax
  • Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes.
  • Treat bees with antibiotics
  • Automated honey extractor
  • Apiary management
