Responsibilities
Tasks
- Gather information on current government policies regarding recreation, sports and physical activities
- Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
- Co-ordinate special events
- Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development and administration of sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities
- Project management
- Plan schedules, goals and objectives
- Plan and control budget and inventory
- Deliver lectures and presentations
- Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents and educational institutions
