Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Gather information on current government policies regarding recreation, sports and physical activities
  • Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
  • Co-ordinate special events
  • Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development and administration of sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities
  • Project management
  • Plan schedules, goals and objectives
  • Plan and control budget and inventory
  • Deliver lectures and presentations
  • Visit colleges and secondary schools to provide academic information to prospective students, their parents and educational institutions

  • Plan and conduct public relations programs, and education and extension programs related to forestry
  • Schedule events, programs and activities

  • Revise the development of educational programs
  • Produce articles or documents to provide information to the general public
  • Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities
