Antrim Equestrian has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved.

Tasks

  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
  • Clear fields of wood and stones
  • Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals
  • Diagnose livestock health issues
  • Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses
  • Groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows
  • Handling animals
  • Mixing fertilizer
  • Monitoring animal health
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Perform animal grooming activities
  • Perform livestock feeding
  • Treat livestock health issues
  • Feed and tend animals
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Formulate feeding program
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
  • Maintain work records and logs
