Tantalus Vineyards has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved.

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience

  • 5 years or more

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

  • Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities
  • Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions
  • Implement soil fertility programs
  • Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform general farm duties

  • 3-4 people

  • Pesticide Applicator's Licence
