Take charge of operating and keeping an eye on production equipment and manufacturing processes. Carry out regular inspections of machines and their parameters. Spot and solve any issues that arise with processes and equipment. Tweak machine settings to ensure everything runs smoothly and maintains top-notch product quality. Keep track of production data, any downtime, and any deviations in the process. Make sure we’re following all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines. Handle basic maintenance tasks and lend a hand to maintenance teams during repairs. Get involved in ongoing improvement efforts to boost efficiency and cut down on waste. Help out with equipment changeovers, startups, and shutdowns. Provide training and support to new operators when needed.
