Sandmere Construction has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved.

Education

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 1 year to less than 2 years

On site

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
