Banff Convenience has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved.

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

  • Operate cash register
  • Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
  • Receive payment for goods or services
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
  • Stock shelves and clean counter area
  • Accept reservations or take-out orders
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods
  • Provide customer service
  • Assist customers with self-checkout
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
