Waterloo Nuclear and Radiography has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved.

  • Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

  • Explain procedures
  • Operate X-ray, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
  • Operate radiation therapy equipment
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Explain procedures and side effects of radiation
  • Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
  • Record and process patient data
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

  • Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
